Red and yellow, black and white..

..we are precious in His sight! Teehee. I'm in love! I'm in love with a boy at my church but i've no idea what his name is. Hmm let me give u a brief description of him, he has a boyish hair-cut, an ADORABLE smile & he's vertically challenged! The first time I met him, hmmm.. let's see what did I do? :D I was captivated by his boyish looks & his cute grin! Sigh.. so I gave in... I couldn't suppress that longing in me to play with him. SO, guess what I ended up doing? I ended up playing peek-a-boo with him in church! I guess, mmm, I was influenced by ice age: There's a scene where the saber-tooth tiger played a game with the human baby.. he covered his eyes with his hand, er I mean paw, n peeked thru his fingers & kept on going "Where's the baby?" When the baby wasn't hiding, he'd shout, "There he is!" Of course, I played the silent version of peek-a-boo. Well, sort of. Both the boy & I enjoyed it. How...

God is GREAT

Here's something that means a lot to me:

Heartbreaks

Sometimes, you ust take everything & everyone for granted & when you realise that someone you really love & care about is gone.. it hits you, HARD. That's how I feel now. Well, I guess for many, weeping over a dog is pathetic, but I can't help it! My mum gave away Dasher, my Dalmation. Sigh, never expected that to happen - I had a fantastic time at the funfair and Joanna was unable to pry me away from playing game-after-game. Left for Physics tuition and upon returning, my sister asked me a strange question, "Cheh, are you in a happy mood today?" "Yes!" was my reply. And then she asked me again, "Are you going to stay happy?" A little unsure what to make out of the situation, I answered "Yes" once more. Then , she told me that mum gave Dash away. To which, I instantly burst into tears. Well, God, I've prayed that mum wouldn't give Dash away but she still did. Lord, I prayed in Form 3 that Uncle Jason and t...

just thinking aloud

Have been thinking lately about what career I should pursue. I've considered being a vet, since I do love animals, if I'm going to be one, I'll have to go to Massey University since it's the only uni in the whole of NZ that offers the course. Otago doesn't even have it. Hmm. But, I think, I'd be more "emotionally gratified" if I work with people because as much as I love animals, I feel like I should work with people more. My mum told me once that I should choose an occupation I really enjoy doing, and get paid for it. Hmm, what would I enjoy doing? I've heard people telling me about how they knew what job they would select. Aunty Anna, one of the ladies I worked with in Sunday School, told me that she knew she was destined to be a teacher. She said she just felt a "supernatural bubbling joy" within her whenever she taught the children. I must confess I did enjoy teaching Sunday School but I never felt that "bubbling joy"...

Picturing the first Easter morning

Author unknown. The sun rose that first Easter morning on an entirely different world than the one that had existed hours earlier. For most people, to be sure, it was the same. Birds twittered as they usually did in their predawn revelry. Lazy dogs barked at the sound of the first early risers. In his penthouse in downtown Jerusalem, Pilate rolled over in bed and moaned at the mockingbird making a racket on his veranda. He could feel his wifes stiffness next to him. He didnt even have to look to see her wide, sleepless eyes locked on a crack in the ceiling for fear of the dreams that might come back if she closed them. In the nearby barracks, a soldier snored on in thick oblivion. Soon his comrades would wake up to wicked hangovers, a usual Sunday morning experience. Things were always quiet on the Jewish Sabbath, so Saturdays became party time for the Roman soldiers. Out in the courtyard, roosters crowed, and Peter, curled up next to a stone wall, was sure he heard every last one...

First post!

I finally have a blog! * jumps ecstatically*  I'm utterly exhausted, but i'm not going to allow my exhaution to deter me from blogging .  Students from Adelaide came to visit our school today.  I was told that our school is the only school they're visiting during their "study tour" in Malaysia.  Imagine that, that's Teresian pride for you!  Some of them could speak Malay really fluently - with an Ozzie accent of course (apparently they learn Malay at school). Their visit to our school brought back memories of last year's mooting competition organised by Bond University. I still remember shaking so much when I'd found out that we'd won 'Best Team' and bagged the two 'Best Advocate' titles, and having one of the judges giving me a much needed hug when she saw the look of utter disbelief on my face when I went up to receive the prize.  I recall how worn-out we all were:- After working so hard and skipping so many classes fo...
